New work – “The Wolf Who Cried Boy” at Emprise Review …

The Wolf Who Cried Boy” – a flash / prose poem … written with Borges’ parables swirling through my head – has been published in Emprise Review. The influence of Jorge Luis Borges on my writing – in particular, El Hacedor, his collection of poems, prose poems, & parables – is fundamental.

from the piece:

Someone first tells it. Someone writes it down. Dreams it. And so on.

Thanks to Robert Vaughan for featuring the piece (June 2011) on the Lake Effect – Flash Fiction Friday (public radio, Milwaukee, Wisconsin).
